I love what I do as a Dental Hygienist and this reflects greatly both in my work and in my chair side manner with patients. I do not believe in an "angry sergeant major" style of dental hygiene as I believe it's much more important to get to know my patients and to know what works best for them individually as every patient is different.I strongly believe in building rapport with patients providing empathy and understanding, and a gentle approach to hygiene treatment. As a result I have always built up good working relationships with all my patients wherever I have worked, and this I feel is the keystone to excellent, successful, and long term dental and hygiene care.
An area I enjoy enormously is in helping nervous patients overcome their fears, and over time they actually look forward to their regular visits and in seeing me as their dental hygienist.
When I am not working I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors with my two young children. I enjoy running, cycling and baking at home.
