Oral Hygiene Bracknell Berkshire

Posted on 24th March 2025 by CrownWood Dental

According to a survey of 2,000 UK adults on the topic of oral hygiene, two-thirds of people interviewed said they brush their teeth for less than two minutes while one in three skip toothbrushing altogether when feeling đŸ„±tired or lazy after a long day. Feeling sick is also a powerful deterrent with 25% of people skipping toothbrushing if unwell.

It can be hard after a busy day when you feel ready to crash into bed to pluck up the courage to reach for the đŸȘ„toothbrush. But brushing your teeth twice a day for two minutes with fluoride toothpaste will prevent plaque from building up and will help keep your teeth and mouth healthy. It’s important to be regular and thorough and to stick to this routine every single day – even on days when you’re in a rush or you feel too tired or under the weather. Those 2 minutes can make a big difference!

If you feel you have at times slipped into less than perfect toothbrushing habits, don’t worry: it’s not too late to do something about it. You can always book an appointment to see one of our dental hygienists for a thorough clean and to get their top toothbrushing tips. Simply give Lisa Bonello a call on ☎ 01344 300 417 or đŸ“±07765 333 768 or 📧 pc@crownwooddental.co.uk
