According to a recent report conducted by the Oral Health Foundation. mouth cancer is continuing to rise throughout the UK. In the last 10 years, cases have risen by 34% and deaths have increased by 75% compared to 10 years ago.
It’s important to be mouth 👄 aware and to be aware of early signs of oral cancer such as long-lasting mouth ulcers which do not seem to heal, red or white patches in the mouth, or unusual lumps or swellings in the mouth, head or neck. The Oral Health Foundation report also highlighted that the cost-of-living crisis represents a major challenge as a lot of people won’t be attending regular check-ups and early signs of oral cancer could
